So excited to be able to extend our pool season with our new pergola. Chuck and his team did an excellent job bringing my ideas to reality. Their level of communication and coordination with other contractors on the job were exceptional.

Chuck was great to work with. He went above and beyond on our screen project from the initial consultation, He made a second trip to our house with some larger sample screens. The estimate came through quickly once a decision was made. Within 6 weeks, the custom sized screens were installed. The installation crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and picked up after themselves. Our screens included a bridge to add automation to our existing Control4 system. There is also another app to control the screens from anywhere.Before meeting with Chuck, I had 2 other companies come out to price screens for us. I always thoroughly research before making big purchases, and was happy when I found Chuck/Homestead/MagnaTrack Screens.The functionality of the screens is amazing. After meeting Chuck at the Home Show in January and getting to know him a little, we had him come out and give us an estimate. After thinking about it for a week or two, we decided to go with a Pergola with the insulated roof over a portion of our stamped concrete patio, that would require only 1 support pole on the outer corner. The Pergola was 21' x 14'. The Pergola along with Christian and two other men arrived on Friday June 7th and put the framework together on saw horses as well as digging the footer, then on the following Monday installed the ceiling panels and raised the Pergola (with 3 electronic jacks) attaching it to the house while pouring the footer and setting the corner support.It was a very smooth construction process and the workers had it down pat. They came back Tuesday for a few hours to remove the temporary support and clean up the dirt around the footer and planted some grass seed on the freshly dug dirt.We then made plans with the electrician to replace a couple of light fixtures that had to come down do to the placement of the Pergola as well as to install an 84" ceiling fan. That process was wrapped up in a little more than a day.Chuck took care of the permitting issues and kept us informed during the entire process from the initial estimate to the completion of the job.This Pergola easily exceeded our expectations. We have already used space under the Pergola more in the 2 weeks it's been up than we have in the past several years. It has added great value to our ability to sit outside and enjoy nature without being so uncomfortable under the sun beating down on us.
